You must ensure your portfolio is correctly composed using the content requirements and templates listed below for 3 yearly PDRP portfolios

Senior PDRP Pathway

  1. Portfolio Assessment Tool (PAT)
  2. Application letter
  3. Copy of APC (print profile from NCNZ)
  4. Current role description (all RDs if you are applying to the PDRP for more than one role)
  5. Senior Nurse NCNZ competency assessment
  6. Additional evidence of influencing the quality of nursing practice, service delivery and patient outcomes in the directorate or organisation.
  7. Senior Nurse performance review 
  8. Evidence of practice hours
  9. Professional Development Career Plan (PDCP)
  10. Professional Development Record (PDR)
  11. Curriculum Vitae

Senior Expert portfolio requirements

  1. 1x portfolio assessment tool RN level (Completed in your area) and senior level
  2. Application letter
  3. Copy of APC (print profile from NCNZ)
  4. Current role description (all RDs if you are applying to the PDRP for more than one role)
  5. Full self and peer assessment RN expert level (full performance review)
  6. Education session plan
  7. Evaluation of education
  8. Senior nurse performance review
  9. Evidence of practice hours
  10. Professional development career plan
  11. Professional development record
  12. Curriculum Vitae

Portfolios for application to Expert level must be received by the Nurse Coordinator - Professional Development by the 1st of the month to be assessed by the panel that month.
