RUSSELL WILLIAM ANSCOMBE

After the completion of basic and advanced training in Wellington, Russell completed Echo and Cardiac MRI fellowships at Prince Charles Hospital in Brisbane (2007-2008).

In mid 2008 he was appointed cardiologist at Hutt Hospital, and with his colleagues Tim O'Meeghan and Kathy Ferrier, he shares the Friday cardiac catheterisation sessions for Hutt patients at Wellington Hospital.  He also undertakes occasional stress echo tests and cardiac MRI's in Wellington.
His particular interests are Echo and Cardiac MRI.

He is active in the RACP and is currently Chair, the New Zealand Adult Medicine Division Education Committee.
