This workshop will support registered nurses to meet the requirements at competent level on the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP)

The PDRP

  • Supports practice development and career progression
  • Assists in meeting the requirements for annual practicing certificates
  • Provides exemption from recertification audit from Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)
  • Is a requirement for applications for HWNZ funding

The workshop will cover

  • Completion of self and peer assessment against the NCNZ competencies
  • Requirements of PDRP portfolio

Who should attend

  • CCDHB nurses who have not yet obtained competent level on the PDRP
  • Primary, Aged and Residential Care nurses who have not yet obtained competent level on the PDRP
