What to do if you are exposed to Covid-19

Information for Te Whatu Ora Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley workers only.

If you take a test after recently recovering from COVID-19, it will likely show as positive — but this does not mean you are infectious. Because of this, you should avoid taking further tests for 29 days. Count your 29 days from when your symptoms started or when you tested positive, whichever came first.
