PG study into treatment of alcoholism early 1960s, visiting centres in USA, Canada, England, Scandanavia and Israel.

Established Delmont Private Hospital, Burwood for the treatment of alcoholics in the early 1970s.

Foundation Medical Director, Alcohol and Drug Service, Wellington Hospital Board, 1979 - 1980
