CEDOR conducts a broad range of clinical trials looking at both new medications for Type 1 and 2 Diabetes as well as the effects of diet and lifestyle choices, and obesity surgery on health. Volunteers in our trials receive close medical supervision by our experienced and friendly team of doctors and nurses. All trials have been approved by an Ethics Committee before they start and new medications have been tested for safety.

Trial clinic visits are held at Wellington Hospital. The length of trial, number of clinic visits and time commitment for each study is different but usually involves at least 4 clinic visits of an average of 1 hour per visit. While study volunteers are not paid we do contribute towards travel costs and pay for parking in the Wellington Hospital under ground car park.

Are you interested in volunteering?

We are always looking for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes to join our enthusiastic team of volunteers from around the greater Wellington area.
