Educated at Wanganui Collegiate Began medical studies in Dunedin, completing them in Edinburgh During WW1 served with NZ Mounted Rifles; wounded at Gallipoli Postgraduate studies in London and in Minnesota Returned to NZ in 1923. Lived in Karori.
