Clinical Assurance Framework

The Clinical Assurance Framework draws together the principles of clinical governance utilised within the New Zealand health environment and provides direction on how this is applied for allied professionals working across central region. The intent is to have systems and measures in place to support public safety, through consistent monitoring of individual allied professional practice. The Framework breaks clinical assurance activity down into three categories, namely mandatory activities, individual profession/service specific activities and continuing professional development activities.
