Emma Hickson Chief Nursing Officer 2019 - 2020
Emma Hickson joined the Capital and Coast DHB in 2001 having emigrated from the UK and spent time as a Charge Nurse Manager and Nurse Educator, Midwife and registered Nurse.
Emma worked in several roles from Nurse Educator/Lecturer, Nurse Researcher, Charge Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing for Primary and Community at both Capital and Coast and Hutt Valley DHBs. In 2019, Emma was appointed the Chief Nursing Officer from 2019 until she left to work in the Ministry of Health.
