Balance NZ, Bipolar and Depression Network is a national network set up and operated by consumers to help members who have experienced mood disorders (bipolar disorder and depression) to cope positively with their condition. It acts as an umbrella group for a number of regional support groups nationwide.

Blind Citizens NZ

Blind Citizens NZ is New Zealand’s oldest advocacy organisation in the disability sector, (founded in 1945). It is New Zealand’s largest, generic, blindness consumer organisation.

Deafblind NZ

We are a voluntary not for profit organisation who advocate and lobby on behalf of all deafblind people. We currently have support groups in Auckland, Waikato and Canterbury.

Disabled Persons Assembly (DPA)

The Disabled Persons Assembly (DPA) is a pan-disability disabled person’s organisation that works to realise an equitable society, where all disabled people (of all impairment types and including women, Māori, Pasifika, young people) are able to direct their own lives.

IHC Advocacy

We can support you to advocate on behalf of a person with an intellectual disability or support people with intellectual disabilities to be self-advocates.

Emerge Supported Employment Trust

Emerge Supported Employment Trust is a not for profit organisation which provides a range of professional supported employment and transition services for people with disabilities in Wellington.


Workbridge is a specialist employment service that gives employers access to a wide talent pool of people with a disability, injury or illness.


We work with people who are facing personal or health challenges and support them to return to or stay in employment.
