The spread of COVID-19 is being closely monitored by the Ministry of Health and Wellington Regional Public Health. The virus is of concern but at this stage the risk of a widespread outbreak in New Zealand is low.
We have been working with Regional Public Health and other regions to ensure a coordinated response across the greater Wellington region.
Stay up-to-date
The Ministry of Health website is your best source of information because it is updated daily. They have a Facebook page @minhealthnz and Twitter channel @minhealthnz to alert people to key updates and messages specifically about coronavirus.
