Student parking:

It is not recommended that Students  park on site  at Wellington hospital due to  construction of the children's hospital in 2020-2021  this has limited parking on site .It is advisable to use public transport or car pool. Staff casual parking permits are no longer available for students. Please park in the general public areas and place the required ticket from the machine in your car. Read more about parking.


All students prior to commencing placement please read the applicable orientation booklet and contact the clinical area directly for orientation and roster information.

CCDHB orientation Information 2020


CCDHB ICT Training 2020

Access to CCDHB ICT is provided for year two and three students  two weeks prior to the first placement at CCDHB.  Please complete the relevant security  forms provided by your tutor using your  full legal name. It is important to inform us if you have worked or are currently working at CCDHB in any capacity. Training takes two hours and is compulsory prior to  ICT access at CCDHB. It is held on level 11 WSB room L1103

Clinical Area Evaluation

We welcome students' evaluation and feed back on their clinical experiences and preceptor support  at CCDHB

This evaluation form can be completed and returned to the clinical area at the completion of the clinical placement.
