All internationally qualified midwives wanting to work in New Zealand must register with the Midwifery Council. You will need to submit a number of documents in order to gain registration and this process can take some time to complete. You'll find information about the process on the Midwifery Council of New Zealand website 

If you're applying for a job with us, you'll need to be registered with the Midwifery Council before the short listing process begins.

All job offers will be subject to you meeting your work visa or residency requirements with Immigration New Zealand. Read more information on work visas and residency

An annual practising certificate must be issued by Midwifery Council before any internationally qualified midwife can start work.
