Anne Evans Murray Seminars:

Clinical Assessment Skills

This two day seminar focuses on clinical assessment skills and building practice knowledge. Anne Evans-Murray is a leading Australasian nurse presenter known for her expert delivery of enjoyable presentations that ensure participants not only understand and retain the practice knowledge covered but will enjoy the experience. The skills covered assist with the recognition of the signs and symptoms of a deteriorating patient.

Respiratory and Cardiac Nursing Skills

This two day seminar focuses on respiratory and cardiac nursing skills. Comprehensive assessment and management is covered including: the normal, assessing the abnormal, a range of conditions and pharmacology with clinical reasoning underpinning Anne’s excellent teaching.

Building Resilience and Managing Challenging Communication

Effective communication is as important for us as individuals, health professionals and team members as it is for the people in our care. This seminar supports building confidence and resilience in the workplace, with a focus on developing self-awareness, self-care and skills to manage criticism, difficult situations and workplace bullying.

Competent RN PDRP Workshops

This workshop will support registered nurses to meet the requirements at competent level on the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP)

Proficient RN PDRP Workshops

This workshop will support registered nurses to meet the requirements at proficient level on the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP).

Expert & Senior Expert RN PDRP Workshops

This workshop will support registered nurses to meet the requirements at expert or senior expert level on the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP)

Senior RN PDRP Workshops

This workshop will support registered nurses to meet the requirements of senior level on the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP).

Enrolled Nurses PDRP Workshops

The PDRP supports practice development and career progression, while providing exemption from re-certification audit from NCNZ. This workshop will assist ENs who would like to complete their initial or subsequent application to the PDRP at any level.

PDRP Assessor Workshops

This workshop is for nurses and managers who complete PDRP portfolio assessments.

PDRP Assessor Update

This update will support nurses who have previously completed the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP) Assessor workshop to maintain PDRP assessment skills.

Preceptor Workshops

The one day workshop meets the National Frame work requirements for precepting graduate nurses and is run collaboratively with Hutt Valley District Health Board. The workshop integrates theory and practice and enables nurses to confidently fulfil their preceptor role through clinical teaching and assessment within their own area of practice.

Intravenous cannulation and drug administration

Registered Nurse Prescribing

Framework for Registered Nurse Prescribing in the Capital and Coast District Health Board.

The overarching intent of the CCDHB framework is to support organisations, i.e. the District Health Board (DHB) and Primary Health Organisations (PHO) with clinical governance structures to support consistent development of RN prescribers.
