Hapū Wānanga ki Te Upoko o Te Ika is a kaupapa māori focused education programme to support whanau and revitalise traditional Māori haputanga practices. It is held by two Māori midwives who work in Porirua -
Fiona Barriball and Tessa Fee.
Hapū Wānanga ki Te Upoko o Te Ika is held at Te Wananga o Aotearoa (TWoA) Porirua (Heriot Dr, Elsdon).
Each wānanga is held over two days on a Wednesday and Thursday towards the end of each month. The current available dates are listed here.
