CCDHB will be helping hospital
patients fill in their Census forms on Census Day (Tuesday 6 March 2018). A
number of patients in Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital and
Ratonga Rua o Porirua on Census Day may not have had a chance to fill in their
forms prior to coming into hospital.
Patients who will be in hospital overnight on Tuesday 6 March, and who have not
completed their Census form at home can either complete the form online –
provided they have a laptop, iPad or smartphone, and that they know the access
code sent to them by Stats NZ. Patients, whanau and visitors are encouraged to
bring this access code and the web address attached to it with them if they’re
staying in hospital on Tuesday night.
Paper Census forms will be handed out to patients who have not had a chance to
complete the form either online or prior to coming into hospital. Hospital
volunteers will be at Wellington Regional Hospital and Kenepuru Community
Hospital on the day to assist patients with filling in their form if they need
help.
Patients or whanau uncertain about what to do should ask their charge nurse for
assistance from one of the volunteers in the hospitals.
Stats NZ has toll-free number for those who need help in other scenarios: 0800
CENSUS (0800 236 787).
