LEON BARRY JELLETT

Leon obtained postgraduate training in Adelaide and at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, Tennessee.
He returned to Australia to take up the post of Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology, University of Western Australia.

In 1976, Leon was appointed Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacology at the Wellington Clinical School of Medicine, a post he held until 1981.
Whilst in Wellington, he conducted a Hypertension Clinic within the Cardiology and Hypertension Departments.

Leon returned to Australia in 1981 to the position of Clinical Pharmacologist at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Sunnybank, Queensland.
As of 2012, he continues to practice in Ipswich, Queensland.
