Location: Level 4 Wakefield Specialist Medical Centre, 99 Rintoul Street, Newtown.

This Sports Medicine service is part of the Wakefield Hospital complex. It has a car park with an entrance of Rintoul Street. The most accessible route into the Sports Medicine centre is through the Wakefield Specialist Centre, then up the lift to level 4. There is a single car park designated for Mobility Parking Permit holder directly opposite this entrance.

Access from the car park to Reception

The route from the designated car park involves crossing the car park and accessing the footpath via a curb cut to enter the access way that leads to the Specialist centre
There is a double door at the beginning of this corridor facing out onto the footpath. It is 71 cm wide and one leaf is locked open during office hours
At the end of this corridor there is a right turn, through another set of doors which are easily opened, past all the reception counters to the lift and stairs that provide access directly to the Sports Medicine Centre
