Meet & Greet - Volunteer Services
Kenepuru Community Hospital operates a volunteer service which is run by Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation. The duties of the volunteers range from Meet & Greet volunteers who are located at the main entrance to help you find your way to volunteers who assist in various other areas within the hospital.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Kenepuru Hospital please contact either the Volunteer Coordinator on 04-237-0179 extn. 7217 or Wellington Hospitals & Health Foundation on 04-918-1137.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria is located on the ground floor of the Ward Block.

Hours: 8.00am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday.

The tea and coffee facilities are available for patients 24 hrs 7 days week.

Public Toilets
Public toilets are located on the main corridor of the clinical services block.

Disabled toilets are located opposite the Radiology/X-Ray unit.

Public Transport
A bus stop is located on Ambulance Drive . For information on public transport options, contact Ridewell on 0800 801 700.

ATM Cash Machine
The ATM machine is located on the ground floor of the Ward Block next to the Ground Coffee Shop in the front foyer.

Flowers, gifts, letters and parcels
Flowers, gifts, letters or parcels should be clearly marked with the patient’s name and ward. Flowers are not allowed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Chaplain/Quiet Room
There is a quiet room located on the ground floor next to the Outpatients.

Group Manager, Kenepuru/Kapiti Community
The group manager office for Kenepuru/Kapiti is located in the ground floor of the Ward Support block.

Theatres
Theatres, Anaesthetic, pre-assessment Unit are located on the ground floor of the clinical services block along the main corridor.

Laboratory
If you need to have blood tests, the lab is situated on the ground floor of the clinical services block along the main corridor (opposite Theatres).
