Roy Towers
Roy Towers worked at Wellington Hospital in various administrative roles from 1941 to 1983. He carefully collected and preserved a wealth of historical information relating to the Public Hospital in Wellington, and much of this is now lodged in an Archives New Zealand collection which bears his name. The collection is available at the Archives NZ in Wellington, and the complete contents can be viewed there by referencing ABRR 7563 This Evening Post photograph was taken at the time of the launch in 1976 of the book 'Wellington Hospital 1847 - 1976', written by Laurie Barber & Roy Towers.
