Navigation Tips return to home page

(i)   For navigation between pages, use the icons at the top right of each page:

             vis:  back to
previous page return to home page move to next page

(ii)  Images that are surrounded by a blue frame can be enlarged by moving the mouse anywhere over the image and left-clicking.   When viewing enlarged images, use the scroll bars as required to explore the whole image.
After viewing an enlarged image, return to the 'parent' page by clicking on the 'BACK' button at the top left of your browser window.

(iii)  If the icon    Read more   appears on a page, use as a link to another page on which more detailed historical and anecdotal material relating to the original page can be found.
When finished reading the extra material, return to the original page by clicking the icon     Return

(iv) For images that are annotated to allow structure identification, position the mouse pointer over any structure to reveal its name.
Note:   not all browsers allow such identification (eg. Netscape v.4.0); others (eg. Internet Explorer v.5.0) allow identification only if the image is not scrolled.
Internet Explorer v.5.5 and v.6.0 allow identification even with a scrolled image.

(v)  The source of each image is acknowledged.  If the icon source ref:  is placed to the right of an acknowledgement, position the mouse pointer over the icon to reveal the source reference.
