Resident Surgeon, Marylebone Hospital
Practised in Birmingham (1861 census) and in Aston, Warwickshire (1871 & 1881 census) , before coming to NZ.
First registered as a medical practitioner in NZ 8/11/1881

Honorary Physician, Wellington Hospital 1882-83 (succeeding Dr Collins)

Resident Surgeon, Wellington Hospital April - July 1884
In June 1884, he wrote a letter to the NZ Mail re psychological phenomena.   Correspondence in reply (July 1884) was strongly critical - on the grounds that Doctor Keyworth had presented no evidence to support his claims.  On 1/8/1884 he resigned from his Hospital post, to resume private practice.

Subsequently practised in Sumner and in Nelson
