During WW1 served with NZ Mounted Rifles;  wounded at Gallipoli

MB ChB (Edin) 1918, MRCS (Eng) LRCP (Lond) 1918, MS (Minnesota) 1921

Postgraduate studies in London and in Minnesota
Returned to NZ in 1923.  Lived in Karori.

Honorary assistant Urologist, Wellington Hospital 1926 - 1927

Emigrated to Jerusalem in 1928, joining the staff of Hadassah Hospital
Head of Surgery, Hadassah Hospital 1930 - 1960
