Orthopaedic Surgeon, Wellington Hospital 1929 - 1950
Resident Commissioner, British Red Cross Society and the Order of St John of Jerusalem, London 1940 - 1941

Instrumental in the founding of the NZ Crippled Children Society, the NZ Association of Health, Physical Education and Health, and the NZ Orthopaedic Association
