Mental Health

Capital & Coast District Health Board provides a wide range of services to assist people with experience of mental illness.

These services are provided both by our experienced staff within the organisation and by other community organisations, known as NGOs (Non-Government Organisations) based in the community.

For many people coping with mental illness is not an easy thing to do at the best of times, so in recognising the importance of helping people to seek help and to recover we have provided a range of helpful tips and advice on what to do if you or someone you know might be affected, what types of services are available and how to go about accessing them.
