The Magnifier in Windows will not meet the needs of everyone, this page overviews more sophisticated magnification software.
Introduction
Although Window's Magnifier can magnify your text, it is very limited. There are many magnification software programs that can magnify the full screen image many times, as well as allowing you to choose your colour preferences on programs that do not otherwise let you do so.
Some magnification packages also offer speech output.
Examples include iZoom (see Fig 1) which is free to download (for XP and Windows 2000 only) and commercial products such as ZoomText, Lunar and SuperNova Magnification Software.
